All employees are recruited onto an initial trial period where they are assessed and graded according to competence for the recruited role.
Staff Opportunities
Staff are routinely encouraged to identify and request training to enhance the service. We ensure that there is a full career path from the site through to high level management for those interested.
Staff Monitoring
All staff and their work is routinely monitored and assessed against agreed quality standards. Where an issue is identified, support and advice is offered to the relevant staff member to allow them to correct the work and to avoid further issues.
Staff Empowerment
We belief that responsibility can be delegated, but accountability cannot! All management and supervisory staff have the autonomy to make service level decisions and they are rewarded according to the level of service and satisfaction provided to the client.
This is the practical result of our systems based thinking on customer satisfaction - if it is wrong, we sort it out!
Staff Vetting
Many of our staff are CRB checked as this is required by some of our clients. In addition, Simmons Services staff are vetted at recruitment and undertake a rigorous induction to ensure that they are fully prepared to face our clients.
Our commitment to Investors In People accredited grading system ensures that training requirements are identified and resources are made available to deliver the training whether in house or through external providers.
Job Opportunities
To continually improve our service and explode the popular myth that ‘tradesmen are trouble’ we welcome applications for staff that are capable of delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
