The Sunrise Centre, Huyton – is a centre which is invaluable to the community and houses Social Services, The Primary Care Trust and Surestart.

Also within the Sunrise Centre is The Sunrise Club which enables young disabled children and their parents to meet up every week and also work with play therapists who can help their development.

Knowsley’s Employability Project, gathered a small team of teenagers to decorate and refurbish the areas that. However, help was needed with materials and expertise to get the job done. They came to Simmons Services for help who were only too pleased to offer assistance and Simmons Services supplied all the materials and supervision by tradesmen and our employee development officer to get the job done.

Sam Ellis on behalf of the employment trust said “We are extremely happy and grateful for the support and generosity of Paul and Simmons Services. The help and advice that Peter Cumisky offered was invaluable and he couldn’t have been more accommodating. Tom and Terry did a fantastic job and they were really patient with the young people when helping them. The mums and children couldn’t have been happier with the result”.

Paul Simmons said “it was a pleasure being able to contribute to something so worthwhile in my home town and I am really pleased it was a success. I am thrilled with Simmons Services being part of this project because offering help like this is a vital part of our Social Responsibility and we are happy to assist wherever possible”.
